First Lines Fridays: January 3, 2020

Good morning everyone! Look at me! A post going up on time. I’m so proud of me. On that note, let’s go over the rules and the such for this.

Remember, this shoutout is going to be on Instagram so if you don’t include your Instagram username, I can’t shout you out.

Feel free to guess what book it is whether you want the shoutout or not, just know if you’re doing it for the shoutout, you’re going to need to include your account.

Rules:

  • Follow me on Instagram (link here)
  • Comment on this post with your guess for what the quote is from
  • Leave your Instagram username in the same comment
  • Follow anyone who gets shouted out!

I think that’s it! So, have fun and here’s the quote!

The boy was beautiful. Caramel-smooth skin, honeydew-sweet smile. Black curls on the right side of unruly. Strong hands and hard muscle and his eyes, O, Daughters, his eyes. Five thousand fathoms deep. Pulling you in to laugh even as he drowned you.

Make sure you comment with your guess and check out my Instagram on Saturday for the announcement of the book and the shoutouts!

Thanks for joining me and I’ll see you all soon! Bye!

My name is Amanda! I'm 25 years old with one son, Alex. He's my world and my everything. I have my Bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing. I run the Instagram @acourtofbooksandlove, the A Court of Books and Love blog and YouTube. I hope to one day help indie authors/lesser known authors work to spread their name and get their book to where they want it to be and ready for the public's eyes. If you're an indie author, feel free to email me to see if I'm interested in your novel (whether it's already published or not). I mainly read romance, YA fantasy, and YA contemporary. When emailing, please provide a copy of the novel or a link to where I can find it. For business inquires, email me at: acourtofbooksandlove@gmail.com
