Good morning everyone! I’m back again with another announcement.

This time it’s for a readathon that I hosted last year that I had a ton of fun with and really wanted to do again. To make things easy, I’m just keeping everything the same as last time except the dates.

What is ARCathon?

ARCathon is a readathon with the goal of reading arcs (advance reader/review copies). This isn’t limited to books that are not out yet, though. If you have any review books, you can read them for this readathon.

The main goal is to either catch up or get ahead of your arcs. Some of the challenges are for backlist, some are for newer.

Don’t think you can’t do this readathon if you don’t receive arcs, though. You can also do it if you just want to review the books your reading.

If you want to review a book, then count it.

When will this be?

This round of ARCathon is going to be…

March 2nd through March 8th

Starts at midnight on March 2nd, ends at 11:59pm on March 8th, your time.

Are there any challenges?

Yes! To guide you in what to read, if you can’t decide, I have come up with a few challenges. You don’t have to do any of them. They are not a requirement.

I only have a couple, though.

  1. Read an arc that has already come out
  2. Read an arc that hasn’t been released yet
  3. Read an arc that has already come out in a different format than you have (ie. you have the ebook, so listen to the audiobook)
  4. Read a physical arc
  5. Read an arc from Netgalley

And that’s it for the challenges. I won’t be doing all of these, I know that. So don’t feel like you have to either.

But that’s really it for information for this readathon. I don’t have a twitter, instagram, or anything. Just use the hashtag #ARCathon

If you want me to create a GoodReads group, I can. Just let me know in the comments.

Are you going to participate in ARCathon?

I’ll see you all soon! Bye!
