Weekly Update | May 3rd

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing well.

Today I’m going to be wrapping up this week (April 27-May 3rd) and let you know what I hope to read next week! I’ll also be talking about the webtoons I’m reading and the shows I’m watching. So make sure you click “continue reading” to keep reading!

Let’s do this!

I won’t be getting into my thoughts on these books, but I will be posting my reviews on Instagram within the next couple of days. And you’ll hear more in my wrap up. But these are all of the books that I read this week!

I read 3-6 during this time but ended up reviewing them all together
I read volume 3 this week, volume 2 was last week.

So, I ended up getting a lot of books read during the week and I’ll talk about it more in my wrap up, but I did end up finishing the 30 books in 30 days! A lot of that was manga, though, so it makes sense I did it.

Other exciting news, I graduated! Mostly? I don’t know when you’re officially called a “graduate.” Is it when you finish classes? When you get the final passing grades? When I have the diploma? I’m not sure. I’ve hit two of those three things. So, am I graduated?

Other than that, I’ve just been playing Animal Crossing. Do you want to see my house? Too bad. Here is the important room.

If you cannot tell, that’s an entire room full of spooders. I have no shame. But I did end up having to put some in the room that I use as the bathroom and then when scorpions came around, I added those in there as well. Could I put them in my storage? Yup. Am I going to? Nope. I’ll get rid of them when Flick shows up.

When it comes to the webtoons I’ve been reading, I haven’t been reading too many lately. Because I was working on the 30 books in 30 days, I ended up not reading as much. But I have been making slow progress in Mage and Demon Queen which is a f/f romantic comedy about a mage trying to convince the demon queen to marry her. It’s hilarious and I can’t get enough. Gives me hardcore video game vibes.

As for watching, I’ve just been slowly making my way through Fruits Basket (the new one). I wanted to rewatch it and catch up since I stopped watching it for some reason.

Now let’s talk about my plans for this week.

The buddy read for this book starts on Monday and while we won’t be finishing this by the end of the week, it’s still one I plan on making good progress in this week.

I plan on finishing Mage and Demon Queen and reading one called Age Matters.

What to Watch

Besides cheesy romances? I’ll be hopefully catching up on Fruits Basket. I’m on episode 7 of season 1 which has 25 episodes. Currently season 2 is on the third episode. But I’m doing a live tweet as I watch through them. So feel free to follow along or just check them out. Click here to see that.

Also, make sure you check out this post where you can vote on my next watch.

Lastly, let’s take a look at some of my posts from this week.

And that’s going to be it for this one. I will be getting my end of April reading vlog up soon. It’s been a taxing editing process. So I’m going to go to bed now so I can actually get some sleep.

Thanks so much for joining me and I’ll see you all tomorrow with another Manga Monday.
