Mini Contemporaryathon TBR

Good morning everyone! I hope you’re doing well! Today I’m going to be going over my Mini Contemporaryathon TBR.

I know I said I’d be doing a Readathin Check-in, but let’s be honest, my Readathin isn’t going great right now. But that being said, I’m really excited for this mini round of Contemporaryathon and I have 4 books planned out that I want to get to over the 4 days.

Is it doable? Yeah. Will I do it? Well, we’ll have to wait and see.

Let’s get into my TBR.

Don’t forget to check out the announcement/TBR videos of the hosts, all shown below.

So, let’s get into my TBR

Read a book with a peach colored cover

So, I talked a bit about this in my post the other day, but this is a mistaken-identity, enemies to lovers kind of romance.

Amanda has been crushing on one of her coworkers for months, except now he’s moving and she has one last chance to make her move before he leaves. So while they are holed up in a house together, she sneaks into his bed late at night to FINALLY make her move. Except it’s not his bed. It’s his twin brother’s. And Amanda and Noah do NOT get along. Except they definitely get along in bed.

I’m really excited for this one and, I mean, that’s a peach color right?

Read a short book (under 250 pages)

Again, I talked about this one in the post the other day. This one is coming in at 150 pages, according to GoodReads, so it counts!

This book follows Becky and Steve. Becky is a single mother who will do anything to make sure her son is happy and healthy, even if that means marrying Steve. Steve needs this marriage to work so that he can be voted in as DA. So both are going to benefit from this and it’s only a year. What could possibly go wrong? Except Steve is the brother of the man who broke her heart and Becky is keeping secrets that could ruin everything.

Read a “fun” book: either one that looks fun, has a fun theme, or you anticipate reading

This has been a book that I’ve been anticipating for a while now! It’s the sequel to Effortless With You and follows the couple that came from that book as they struggle to deal with photos being leaked of the two of them and him choosing who his family wants him to be over her and her love for the man HE wants to be.

I think this is going to be a book I really enjoy. I love Lizzy Charles’ writing and I love these two together. So I’m excited to watch them overcome this.

I’m not 100% sure what this one was about. I just know hospital romance where the female is older. So I’m really looking forward to watching this story unfold and see these two fall for each other.

And that’s really it for today.

Comment below if you’re going to be participating in Contemporaryathon and what you plan on reading.

I hope you all enjoyed this and I’ll see you all very soon. Bye!

  1. I like the synopsis for Small Town, Big Secrets.. Marriage of convenience contemporary romances are always interesting to read.
