5 Books That I Don’t Hear About Often

Good morning everyone. It’s been a bit of time. Are we surprised? No. I’m going to talk about what’s going on a bit on Monday, hopefully. I plan on working on a few posts today. So I’ll go more into it then.

But until then, let’s talk about some books that I don’t tend to see on BookTube, Bookstagram, or any book blogs. Just because I don’t see them, doesn’t mean they aren’t around though. I’ve seen them in a few places here and there, but generally they don’t get the hype that I’ve seen other books get.

These are also books from my TBR so I can’t really say if I enjoy them or not. Anyway, let’s get right into this and as always, the links for buying these books are through BookShop and Golden Bee Bookshop.

Adorkable by Cookie O’Gorman

This book is one that I saw on Entangled Publishing’s Instagram and immediately wanted it. It’s a young adult contemporary romance featuring at least one nerd and I’m so here for it. I definitely want to read this one soon, but I haven’t gotten the chance yet. One of these days, I swear. It helps that it’s a nice floppy paperback as well.

Analee, in Real Life by Janelle Milanes

I first heard about this book from Donna from Mom’s Book Collection and I’m so excited to read it with her one of these days. It’s a contemporary following a girl who finds herself in video games while dealing with anxiety after the death of her mother a few years before.

Blackhearts & Blacksouls by Nicole Castroman

This is one that I feel like no one really talks about. I found it on BookOutlet back when I used to use it and decided to get them both. It’s a duology about Blackbeard and I’m nervous about it, I won’t lie. This is one that I think I’m going to enjoy, but I’m still trying to get into pirate books. I seem to enjoy all the ones that I’ve read, but I haven’t read too many. So I’m excited, but nervous.

The Raven and the Dove by Kaitlyn Davis

This one I feel like is one of the ones I’ve heard the most about on this list. The sequel of this book is already out and I only knew that because I saw it being talked about. So that’s good for this series, but overall I haven’t heard much. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact I believe it’s indie published, but I found it on a GoodReads new releases list, so the word still got out and I can’t wait to get to it. For one, my edition is a big ole floppy paperback so that’s awesome. And two, it’s about star-crossed lovers and I’m so here for it.

The purchase link below is through Amazon because the only listing on BookShop was for a $25 hardcover copy which I’m not even sure exists. So the link is through Amazon where you can also read it for free through Kindle Unlimited.

I Remember You by Cathleen Davitt Bell

This book is about a girl who meets a guy who claims that he’s lived the future and knows all of their firsts like their first kiss and their first fight. But then it takes a turn and I’m not too sure what that turn is, but I’m ready for it. I can’t wait to read this one and see what I think about it. It’s one that I got on a whim from BookOutlet without looking up any information about it a year or two ago. We’ll see how that ends up going for this book.

And that’s going to be it for this one. Let me know in the comments what books you have on your shelves, either read or unread, that you don’t hear too much about.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and stick around for me. Follow my blog, subscribe to my YouTube, follow me on Instagram and let me know if you would like for me to do a reading vlog on my channel and a wrap up here of these books.

Thank you all so much for sticking around for this whole post and I’ll see you all very soon in the next one.

  1. OMG I read Blackhearts and totally forgot about it! I actually enjoyed it. I never picked up book 2 for some reason, though.
