Halloween on Doosville | Animal Crossing

Good morning everyone and Happy Halloween, if you celebrate! I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend so far. Today I’m going to just be showing some Halloween decorations I have put around my Animal Crossing island and some “costumes” that I had.

Some of these designs are custom and if they are, I will try to leave below the image how to get it for yourself.

I hope you all enjoy and let’s get right into it!

To start things out, we have the Resident Services.

I didn’t decorate this one. It just decorated itself and I really liked it so I decided to include it. Also, my “crikey” outfit aka my explorer outfit I use year round for bug hunting and fishing.

Next up is my shopping area.

Coming right off the airport, you turn right up the stairs to get to my shopping center. I want to mess with this a bit more and maybe expand it back some more on the second level for some other shopping related things, but for now this is it.

The clothes to the left of the Able Sisters’ gets changed monthly/seasonally. On Nov. 1st, I will be changing out the mummy outfit for something more Fall. The others are already Fall rather than Halloween. I changed them in September and forgot to change them to Halloween costumes. Oops.

To the right of the Able Sisters’, we have the Nook’s Cranny. I put out some pumpkin decor to spice it up a little bit. You can’t see it, but the magazine if a custom design of a missing sign for Mothman. Up the stairs is just where I put items I’m trying to get rid of and people can look at when they come over.

To the left of the airport is this little area that I’ve kind of made into an apothecary. You can’t really tell but the back simple panels have designs on them for that apothecary look.I just added some pumpkin decor to make it more Fall.

Also, if you didn’t notice, I have my tarantula model over here and my scorpion (Kevin) in the shopping area. Kevin scares me often.

Villager Yard Decor was lacking on my island.

I didn’t do too much decorating for my villagers yards mainly because I didn’t see the need to. The most I did was in Lucky’s yard because he’s the most “Halloween” out of all of my villagers.

Also, kind of off topic, but Beau was walking around in the background while I was trying to take this picture and he just wouldn’t get out of frame. Finally he did and I got it, but man. Come on Beau!

But I am happy with how my house came out… You may disagree.

Now moving onto some decorating I did in my house. As you can see, there is a blood trail in the back, leading to the back room. Be warned, the next photo may bring back some bad memories for any Animal Crossing players. You’re welcome.

If you didn’t play Animal Crossing when it first came out, then you likely are not being triggered right now. If you did, I’m sure you’ve decided you hate me and have signed off. I have no regrets.

So, I went to go to Harv’s island to take some pictures and I noticed that Orville waas wearing a hat!!! I can’t get over how adorable Orville and Isabelle are in their little hats. I dislike Isabelle so I decided to just share this cutie.

Now onto the “costumes!”

First up is your very normal mage dress with the matching hat, stockings, and the wings.

Wear your mask πŸ’œ

Next up is kind of just a “devil” outfit. This dress that I found matches these horns very well. So I added in some wings and boom.

I timed this very poorly and the Able Sisters’ is closed so I can’t find the code for this dress. But if you want it, let me know and I can certainly get it for you!

I love this bones costume you can buy from the Able Sisters. I topped it off with a bowtie and a mask and boom. Ready for some cute Halloween activities.

Lols. If you didn’t know about this mask, definitely go break some rocks and get some gold. While running around with it on, you fall down and it’s always fun to shock your villagers by doing so.

Side note, people. Leave the dang mummies alone. You want to know why the world is falling apart? It’s because we keep opening them and releasing the mummy’s curse. Leave them alone!

I’ve had this outfit for a bit as well. Nothing here is custom (aside from the recurring blood on the face. My husband designed it and I liked it on my face.

This is another custom design that I got. If you want it, let me know and I’ll definitely get you the code. I’m a cat!

And that’s it for this one! It was a super quick post, but with the US being pretty much shut down still, this is the closest I’m going to really get to trick or treating. So here it is. I hope you all are staying safe and taking care of yourself.

Quick reminder, Readathin starts tomorrow! I’ll be doing weekly reading vlogs on my Youtube as well as weekly updates here. I hope you’re able to join in! Check out the announcement here if you don’t know what I’m talking about.

Thank you all so much for joining me and I hope you decide to stick around for more. Let me know in the comments what you were for Halloween this year and give me some ideas you’d like to see in a future Switch Saturday post! If you don’t know, Switch Saturday just means that I post about games on Saturdays. So anything game related you’d like to see, let me know!

That all being said, I’m going to go. Make sure you all vote, have a plan to be safe after the election because who knows how it’s going to go or what is going to happen after, and make sure you’re staying hydrated. Wear your mask, social distance, and stay safe. See you all very soon.
