December Books and Love Book Club Pick | 2020

Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. Today I’m announcing the book that we chose for December’s Books and Love Book Club read!

If you don’t know the Books and Love Book Club is a book club that I started hosting in November and decided that I wanted to continue. It’s one that I’m going to hopefully be hosting all of next year as well.

It’s focused primarily on Discord, but you can use the hashtag #BooksandLoveBC to discuss there as well.

Click here if you would like to join the Discord.

So, let’s just get right into this book because I’m super excited about it!

November Books and Love Book Club Book Pick

Good morning everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. Today I’m going to be announcing the November pick for the Books and Love Book Club.

First, I just kind of randomly decided to make this a book club. I originally was just calling it a buddy read, but I decided to “upgrade” it to a book club. So here we are! With the Books and Love Book Club!

Second, the book club will be mainly hosted on my Discord, though you can certainly discuss it all on Instagram and Twitter (I’ll be checking there as well) using the hashtag #BooksandLoveBC on those platforms. Just know that the choice for each month’s book will be done on Discord.

And lastly before I announce the book, if you’ve seen my Readathin Announcement (and if you haven’t go check it out after this post) then you have already heard what book it’s going to be.

I’m not going to hold this off any longer. There’s not too much suspense when I’ve already said what the book is. So let’s do this.

May Buddy Read Announcement

Good morning everyone. I hope you’re all doing well.

Today I’m going to be announcing the book that I chose for May’s buddy read. I’ll share with you the book, the breakdown for pages, and what days it will be happening.

This month I chose a very popular author and a very popular book. I do hope you all are able to join me this month in this buddy read.

I decided to not do the Just Book It Book Club this month and I don’t think if/when it will return. No one ever participated so I didn’t see a point. I will continue to do these buddy reads in hopes of people joining in!

Let’s get right into this.

April’s Just Book It Book Club & Buddy Read Picks | 2020

Good evening everyone! If you’ve been following me on Instagram then you know I’ve been sick these past few days. If you’re stalking me/obsessed with my blog, you know I haven’t posted these past few days. I planned on doing so. My Tag Tuesday was just about finished. But then I couldn’t bring myself to get out of bed or do anything. Even now, I can’t talk. So it’s a good thing I’m a blogger 💁🏻‍♀️

But I couldn’t miss today’s post. I’m so excited to be posting this.

It’s time to announce the April Just Book It Book Club book!

So let’s just into that since I know that’s what you are all here for!

March TBR & Just Book It Book Club Announcement | ARCathon

Good evening everyone! I hope you all are doing well. Today I’m going to be discussing the books I plan on reading in March and also the book that was chosen for the Just Book It Book Club March read! This will also include my ARCathon TBR. My StackedbySeason TBR will be shared closer to the readathon.

If you don’t know what Just Book It is, it’s a Facebook group that I run with a friend of mine. We started a book club and while I mostly run that portion of it, it’s still a heavy focus of the group.

The group is a place where anyone can join to discuss books. If you want to start a buddy read, then feel free to make a post. If you want to just discuss something bookish, feel free to!

But let’s get into the post so I can announce the book!

Week 7 Wrap Up & Week 8 TBR

Good afternoon everyone! I hope the weekend treated you well. I swear. One of these weekends I’ll actually be able to keep up with blogging. I just planned all of the posts for the rest of the month and one day you’ll be getting two because of my OwlCrate unboxing.

But for now, let’s talk about how my reading for last week went and what my plans are for this week. I’m going by what the internet tells me and saying this is week 8 and it started today. So this will be what I read from Monday the 10th through until yesterday the 16th.

Just Book It Book Club Announcement!

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Make sure to take today to plan for this upcoming week, finalize what Christmas stuff you have left to do, drink your water, get enough sleep, and take care of yourself.

So in light of this, I’m going with a really easy post today. Today, I’m sharing what book I chose for the first round back with the Just Book It Book Club and some news and updates with it.

First, I decided to make the book club bi-monthly. So the first round will be January and February. You have those full two months to read the book.

You can discuss it in the Facebook group, just mention where you are before you say spoilers. Then we will do a full discussion at the beginning of March (very early on if not the end of February) where we will do a discussion of the book and decide on March and April’s book.

This full discussion will be done on the Just Book It Book Club discord. I’m still trying to figure it all out, but join the discord by clicking here or the photo below.

We will decide on a date from there. Join the discord, introduce yourself and let me know what you’re currently reading and any 2020 reading or life goals you have. My blog post for that was supposed to go up today but I wanted this to be up first.

So, the moment you’ve all been waiting for! The book!

Tricia Levenseller is releasing a new book in February and I’m so freaking excited about this. This book is a stand-alone inspired by Vikings.

Rasmira has trained her entire life to lead her village and become the warrior her father has taught her to be. But when the trial finally comes up, she ends up being sabotaged and fails. This leads to her being banished from her village. To prove she’s worthy, she decides to kill the god who has been tormenting her village and the surrounding ones for years.

I’m really excited about this book. Provided below are the links to purchase this book from Amazon and Book Depository. The link for Amazon, as always, is my affiliate link. Use that and I’ll get a small percentage of your purchase to help get more books and other things to improve my blog and Instagram. Currently I’m working on saving up to get some more props for photos. Recommend some of your favorite little trinkets to see in photos.

Thank you so much everyone for your continued support and I hope that you all join in! If you’ve already read this, feel free to join into the chats about it! Just remember to remain spoiler free until the final discussion!

I appreciate you all so much and I look forward to chatting with you all on discord! It’s an interesting thing and I’m excited to start using it!

Plan your week! Sit down right now and plan out your week. Whether you just make a to do list or go all out with stickers and drawings in a bullet journal. Sit down right now and plan it out. Make a list of everything you need to do this week and plan it out throughout the week. Spread things out so you aren’t stressing out. That’s what I’m going to do right now along with you!
