WIP Discussion | Coffee Over Books

Hey everyone! I hope you’re doing well.

Today I had a different post idea, but I decided to change it up and go with this one. So today I’m going to talk briefly about what I’m kind of working on with writing. So make sure you stick around so we can chat!

Let’s do this!

NaNoWriMo 2019 Plans

Good morning everyone! It’s day 2 of NaNoWriMo and it’s time to share with you my plans for this month in relation to my writing.

I am horrible at writing.

That’s all there is to it. I feel I’m a decent writer, but I suck at actually sitting down and writing. So that’s why I’m participating in NaNoWriMo.

What is NaNoWriMo?

NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. You can sign up for it at https://www.nanowrimo.org 😁

It’s a month where a bunch of writers come together on the internet to try to write an entire novel in the month of November. That being said, it’s not expected to necessarily become something that is published. Having the first draft is always one of the hardest parts to finish. It’s a large step and conquering that during one month is such an accomplishment.

So, what are you doing for nanowrimo?

I’m writing a short story collection! If you are on my website, you know that I am have two in progress stories listed, a young adult one and a short story collection.

I’ve spent my school career working on the young adult book, so I’m going to focus on my short story collection.

I have a board on Pinterest with a bunch of photos for inspiration for my stories. You can click here to check that out!

It’s going to be a bunch of adult romances that take place in the winter around Christmas!

P.s. I don’t know what movie that is from, but if you know, please tell me. I love winter romance movies.

My ultimate goal is just to start writing every day, or at least close to it. Even if I get like a hundred words out every day, it’s a start. I’m excited to start writing again and I hope that this helps!

If you’re ready to, let me know your goals for NaNoWriMo! Are you even joining? Are you editing/revising?

Thanks so much for joining and good luck with NaNo!
